Schechlt Max 3100 10' x 16 Guage CNC Folder ONE-USED SCHECHTL MAX 3100 10’ x 16 gauge CNC FOLDER
YEAR: 2006
Stock No. 7790

The MAX is a 16 gauge capacity folding machine with closed hemming capacity to 24 ga. The machine has a three axis CNC system that positions the backgauge, the clamping beam and the folding beam and is controlled by an operator actuating a foot pedal. The control, by means of an interactive graphic screen in real time, tells the operator when to flip and swing the part.

Maximum closed hemming capacity : 24 ga. CRS
Upper Beam Stroke 4.7"
Folding Beam Speed : 90°/sec.
Folding Beam Arc, with 20° 0°-160°
Upper Beam Speed 2.8"/sec.
Backgauge Depth : 39.5”
Backgauge Accuracy ±.004
Electrics 3 phase, 60 Hz @ 20 amps, 230V
Weight : 5,450 lbs.
Length : 150.8"
Depth : 70.5"
Height : 54.5"

Features:
Holds up to 1,999 programs more free space around the lower beam and the clamping beam than any other comparable machine. Graphic software shows when to flip and spin the part.

The MAX comes loaded with 140 of the most popular programs for gutters, ridge caps, drip edges and the like. You have two programming methods: programming with the simple graphic interface or simply pulling up a saved program and plugging in new dimensions. This makes the machine usable by any employee once trained on safety. The control prompts the operator when to flip and spin the part, so all they do is simply follow the screen. This allows you to put your best men on the roof rather than in the shop.

The MAX is the strongest machine on the market with a real industrial control that’s been field proven in shops from upper Canada to the Gulf of Mexico. The massive backgauge and solid plated folding beam are the most massive in the business but still easy on the operator. You are not dealing with hollow folding beams and side housings.

The backgauge is driven by two 1.25” Dual Drive Ball Screws guided by two 1.50” Thompson rails, to insure the backgauge stays parallel. What this means is that the backgauge can take a pounding and remain parallel and accurate much longer than the plastic belts or single tiny ball screws of competitors.
